An “immersive art experience” in Tsawwassen featuring the works of Leonardo da Vinci is set to wrap up at the end of the month.

Presented as a visual and sensory celebration of the life and work of the famous artist, inventor, engineer, innovator and genius, the Da Vinci Experience allows visitors to walk through the life and workshop of the Italian polymath in a visual experience and a fully immersive sensory exhibit.

The 60-minute show features four distinct experiences, including an immersive 360-degree room, a virtual tour of Da Vinci’s studio in Florence, and replicas of his unique inventions reproduced from the artist’s original drawings.

After seven months of shows, Sensea Immersive has announced that The Da Vinci Experience will close on February 28 to make way for the company’s next production.

“We were very pleased with the Lower Mainland’s response to our exhibit, and with a 4.4 star rating on Google, our guests loved it too,” said Sensea Immersive co-founder Mick Kelly, in a press release.

“We can’t wait to bring our next immersive experience to British Columbia, and all I can say now is that it will be out of this world.”

Since opening at Tsawwassen Mills in June last year, the exhibition has welcomed thousands of visitors of all ages, including school groups.

In July, the company launched an educational curriculum and learning program featuring engaging, age-appropriate teacher-designed lesson plans, all aimed at enriching the student experience and supporting advanced learning outcomes. sustainable learning.

The show marks the first time The Da Vinci Experience has staged in Canada or the United States. Organized by Dr. Roberta Barsanti (Director of the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, Italy) and produced under exclusive license by Crossmedia Group of Florence, Italy, the show has been seen by over three million people worldwide.

The Da Vinci Experience runs until February 28 at Tsawwassen Mills (5000 Canoe Pass Way, Entrance 3 between Marshalls and Winners). General admission tickets (ages 16-65) are $27.99 for shows Monday through Thursday, $29.99 Friday through Sunday and holidays, and are available at sensea.show/canada. Youth/senior tickets are $23.99/$25.99 and children under three enter free. Family and group packages are also available.

Sensea Immersive plans to announce its next exhibit in mid-February, with pre-sales of tickets for an opening date in early April “soon to be confirmed”.
