SAN DIEGO, July 6, 2021 / PRNewswire-PRWeb / – Brain Corp, an artificial intelligence (AI) company creating transformative core technology into robotics, today announced that Denver Public Schools, one of the largest school districts in the country, have selected BrainOS®-powered robotic scrubbers, manufactured by Tennant Company, to improve cleanliness and sanitation in some of its more than 200 schools.

Denver The public schools made the decision to invest in a large fleet of stand-alone floor cleaners to give its facilities management employees increased bandwidth to work on other higher value-added tasks, such as cleaning between courses and other deep cleanings. The machines will be deployed this summer in various high schools in the neighborhood of 90,000 students.

“These new stand-alone floor cleaners represent a critical technological investment that will help us improve cleanliness in 14 of our largest buildings, primarily our 10 multi-purpose high schools. This is a huge benefit for our students, while maintaining future operating costs, â€said Rich Archulet, Director of Facilities Operations at Denver Public schools. “At the same time, this program will help us address a staffing shortage that most urban school districts face, which is limited funding to meet the ever-increasing needs for facilities.”

Denver Public schools selected the T380AMR after evaluating several stand-alone solutions and ultimately made their decision based on the quality and serviceability of Tennant cleaning equipment, as well as the security, privacy and convenience features. BrainOS® autonomy software data connected to the cloud. District officials were also impressed with the ease of use of the machines, which take advantage of a proprietary ‘teach and repeat’ methodology that allows non-technical employees to easily deploy and adjust cleaning routes on the fly. .

“In the wake of the pandemic, nothing is more important than maintaining improved cleaning standards to keep students and staff healthy and safe,” said Alain Boucher, vice president of global customer services at Brain Corp. “BrainOS-powered scrubbers allow school leaders to quickly deploy powerful cleaning solutions that have the added benefit of providing detailed ‘proof or work’ metrics, which can be used to verify and optimize performance. “

“A clean learning environment helps students and staff succeed and grow. We are excited to see more and more school districts like Denver Public schools are adopting robotic scrubbers to create cleaner, safer environments, while reducing operating costs and expanding bandwidth for their valued employees, â€said Ken boris, Tennant Commercial Market Manager.
