KinderCare extends free daycare daycare program for vaccines

PORTLAND, Oregon – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Kindergarten education® announced today that it is expanding its support for national COVID-19 vaccination efforts by offering families a free day of childcare throughout the summer. Families can enjoy a free day of child care weekdays through Labor Day at one of more than 1,600 KinderCare centers and sites nationwide.

“As the country continues to rebound, it is essential that we stop the spread of COVID-19 by vaccinating as many Americans as possible,” said Tom Wyatt, CEO of KinderCare. “We are honored to continue to support the national immunization campaign and to give families the extra help they need to get immunized. ”

All KinderCare centers operate with enhanced health and safety protocols created in partnership with local and national public health agencies and expert medical advisors to ensure that KinderCare classrooms are the safest learning environments possible. And these practices work: KinderCare center transmission rates are only a fraction of the national average. A Yale University study confirmed that daycares are among the safest places for children because of the strict protocols in place.

KinderCare offers the best curriculum to help kids learn and grow. National studies show that children in KinderCare are better prepared for the first year. They also confirm that the longer children are enrolled in KinderCare programs, the sooner they reach key developmental milestones.

Families with children aged six weeks through 6th grade (12) can sign up for a free weekday day care center at KinderCare centers across the country.
