This initiative aims to provide approximately 2590 Tablets made in India for 79 public girls’ schools in Gujarat. Seeking to share 30 tablets per school to have an impact and empower 8250+ girls from Gujarat. The tablets will be integrated into the Meghshala app and digital training will be delivered online by Meghshala for teachers in Gujarat.
These tablets are part of Lenovo’s “Make In India” portfolio which was recently expanded at the Pondicherry manufacturing plant to include manufacturing of laptops and Thinkbooks. With this Make in India initiative, Lenovo aims to double its manufacturing capacity to 2 million by automating and digitizing the facility for a simple and transparent manufacturing process.
Lenovo’s main motto for lending these devices is to provide access to quality education for disadvantaged students. All tablets purchased by YUVA from Lenovo feature the online educational multimedia content and mobile device management and tracking system that provides cybersecurity for young children when they access the devices for educational purposes.
The IT solutions offered by Lenovo will help filter the content. The licenses will make it easier to loan and track devices with dashboards that will allow teachers to not only give lessons and lectures online, but also understand how well a student has understood the concept. It integrates a variety of technological tools, techniques, electronic content and resources for the comprehensive development of students and teachers.
Using multimedia tools in Lenovo tablets will motivate students and improve their knowledge on various topics. It motivates the creativity, aesthetic appearance, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and sensitivity of the teacher and students. The execution of this program conforms to MCA guidelines and must be supported by evidence of a reactive nature.
