Minerva University Launches Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and Graduate Immersion Opportunities

SAN FRANCISCO AND LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Minerva University, an independent, not-for-profit, accredited institution of higher education with a transformational approach to effective learning, has expanded its offerings for prospective graduate students with the launch of its Certificate in Business Intelligence (CDA) and immersion of graduate students offerings.

Through its Certificate in Business Analytics, Minerva will offer students interested in accelerating next-level leadership the opportunity to do so without committing to a full-time master’s degree program. Over the course of 12 months, students will participate in a 24-credit part-time online program designed to equip working professionals with the ability to assess complex problems and structure ethical solutions guided by an understanding of systematic frameworks that support decision making.

“With the launch of our Certificate in Business Analytics, the opportunity to learn key transferable leadership skills is now available to professionals who wish to further their education but do not yet want to commit to the Master in Business Analytics (MDA) from 21 months.” said Mike Magee, President of Minerva University. “In a fully virtual format, students take classes from anywhere in the world alongside a passionate international community of professionals who share the goals of developing new frameworks, methods and ways of thinking to tackle complex global issues across all sectors.”

Applications for the Fall 2023 Certificate in Decision Analysis program are now open.

For the first time this year, students in the certificate and MDA programs will have the opportunity to participate in in-person cultural and professional immersion experiences designed to provide an international opportunity to connect with leaders from key business sectors and… government organizations. Addressing real-world challenges, Minerva faculty will lead discussions with world leaders to reinforce the skills students have developed in their MDA or CDA courses.

“Global immersion is an integral part of our undergraduate curriculum and is central to Minerva’s learning approach,” said Dr. Geneva Stein, Minerva’s Director of Graduate Programs. “We have developed the immersion offerings so that graduate students can also participate in Minerva’s global, strategically orchestrated and real-world learning experience while continuing their education.”

Graduate Program Immersion Weeks consist of seven-day programs offered in March for freshmen and October for sophomores. Minerva’s first immersion week will take place at October 2022 in London.
