Who has the best places to work in the Richmond area?
The Richmond Times-Dispatch is still looking for area employers for its ninth annual Top Workplaces program.
The deadline for nominating a company for the program has been extended to January 14.
Anyone can name an employer – private, public, government, and not-for-profit – as long as the company has at least 35 employees. There is no charge to participate in the program.
Nominations can be made at www.Richmond.com/Top-Workplaces or (804) 977-9367.
The newspaper again partnered with Energage to determine the best places to work in the region based on employee feedback. The company has conducted these types of surveys in 59 markets nationwide, interviewing more than 2 million employees in more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
Eighty-one companies in the Richmond area were recognized this year as Top Workplaces companies. In May, the top coveted first, second and third place rankings in each of the four size categories – mega, large, medium and small – went to 12 companies.
In the 2021 program, auto retailer CarMax ranked first in the mega-size category for the eighth year in a row – the only company to receive the top designation every eight years across all categories.
